Rocky Mountain Farmers Union is pleased to sponsor and manage the Buy Fresh, Buy Local program for Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. The national Food Routes Network program provides creative support for regional and local groups interested in promoting direct connections that allow consumers and food retailers to buy from local producers. Rocky Mountain Farmers Union is coordinating this effort for the three-state region.
The Wyoming Farmers' Marketing Association works to promote the farmers' markets in Wyoming.
In Wyoming, finding fresh, locally grown produce is a luxury. Starting in mid-summer, many Wyoming agriculture producers can be found at the local farmers’ market offering the freshest and best produce money can buy. Buy supporting farmers’ market development, you enable Wyoming farmers and ranchers to sell locally, which encourages community support for small businesses and keeps money in the local economy.
Our members include market vendors, market managers, and other interested parties.
